First Area Sonic Insanity & Brooklyn Checkers Opens

The first NYC Area Sonic opened this past Sunday in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, and people apparently "crossed railroad tracks and navigated a path of boulders stretching across a creek and bordered by barbed wire fencing" to get there. (NorthJersey.com Article)

Meanwhile, Checkers quietly opened their first Brooklyn location recently. It's in a very high-profile location on Court Street, across from the UA Cinemas. (map). I have already checked it out and will provide a write-up about it later this week. Checkers also has a location each in The Bronx and Staten Island.
